Have you always wanted to get into shooting photos and videos, but you just don’t know where to start? Perhaps you’ve even bought your own camera, but the technical options and controls are overwhelming, and so it has sat around gathering dust.
Well, this 3-hour workshop is designed to help you blow that dust off your camera and get straight into using it. Over the duration of this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how cameras work, what to look for when buying a new or used one, what you should prioritize when looking to upgrade your gear, how to get good exposures, and all the tips and tricks you need to get your journey started.
The Backlot has its own mirrorless cameras, but it is best for participants to bring their devices along with them. The focus of this workshop will be familiarizing participants with DSLR and mirrorless cameras, no matter the brand.
