As part of the Teen Spring Creator Workshop, you will receive a hands-on introduction to the digital video creative process, guided by an expert instructor and special guests. This beginner-level course is designed to help you explore your creative impulses, taking your ideas from conception to production and sharing them with the world. Whether you want to start your own YouTube channel, short film, or even a recurring TikTok or Instagram reel, this class is designed to kickstart your journey as a creator!
During this 10-week program, you will learn how to generate and develop a concept and script, plan your next steps, bring your idea to life, and successfully share it with an online audience. By the end of the course, you will have a completed project that directly reflects your creative vision!
You will gain hands-on experience using our camera, lighting, green screen and sound kits, as well as access to a recording studio and editing computers equipped with Adobe Creative Suite and other software. Whether you are looking for a collaborative environment to workshop an idea, launch a series, or express your artistic side, this class is the perfect starting point for your journey.
The Teen Spring Creator Workshop concludes with an opportunity to premiere your work in a supportive, collaborative atmosphere during our Spring Showcase, celebrating your accomplishments. If you’ve ever wanted to take your first step into the world of content creation, meet fellow collaborators, and receive personalized feedback and guidance from an experienced professional, this is the course for you!
